Description

A deep half-sphere bowl on a small ring foot, cut from natural stone: black marble with white veins or warm beige travertine with its open pores. For fruit on the table or the counter.

  • Size: 20 × 14 cm, the same for both stones.
  • Natural stone: the veins, pores and shade differ from bowl to bowl, so yours will be its own.
  • In the box: one bowl.

Why stone

Heavier, cooler, and the only one like it.

A fruit bowl sits out every day. Here is what stone does that plastic and glass don't.

  1. It stays putSolid stone has weight, so the bowl doesn't slide or tip when one side is full.
  2. Cool to the touchStone feels cool and solid in the hand, like a marble countertop.
  3. The only one like itThe veins and pores come from the block it was cut from. No two bowls match.
  4. Keeps its colourPlastic yellows and goes cloudy with the years. Stone keeps the look it arrived with.

Whole fruit is fine. Wipe off juice from cut citrus straight away: acid can leave dull marks on natural stone.

Cut from natural stone

No two bowls are alike.

Black marble keeps its white veins, travertine its open pores. They run differently through every block, so the bowl you get will be its own.

A drawing of the idea, not your bowl.
