Description

A pepper mill and a salt shaker in solid acacia — the same wood as our utensil set, so they sit together on the table.

  • Mill, shaker & tray: pepper mill, salt shaker and an acacia tray for both.
  • Mill & shaker: the pair without the tray.
  • Mill and shaker about 18 cm tall, 5.5 cm across. The mill takes whole peppercorns; the shaker is for fine salt.
  • Wipe with a dry or damp cloth. Not for the dishwasher.

Shown for styling only and not included: the Wynden Home display stand, food and other props in the photos.

Shipping & returns

Mill and shaker

Same wood, same height. One grinds, one shakes.

Both are cut from solid acacia under a gold-tone metal cap, 18 cm tall and 5.5 cm across. Take the pair on its acacia tray, or the pair on its own.

Fill the mill with whole peppercorns and the shaker with dry, fine salt. Wipe with a dry or damp cloth; not for the dishwasher. Each piece of wood is a little different.

  1. Pepper mill

    18 × 5.5 cm

Whole peppercorns, ground fresh at the table.

  2. Salt shaker

    18 × 5.5 cm

Dry, fine salt, shaken through the cap.

Why grind your own

Pepper tastes best the moment it is ground.

Much of pepper’s aroma sits in oils that start to fade once the peppercorn is broken.
